The S8000 terminals are designed to operate on converged IP networks, such as the internet and corporate LANs/WANs in order to facilitate flexible working and remote office applications. Implementing SIP mode allows your enterprise to access the Shared Extension feature, which allows multiple terminals to use the same extension number on the Axxess converged system. Incoming calls to a share extension are sent to SIP terminals simultaneously; offering you dynamic mobility when you are away from you main desk. Additionally, SIP mode enables IP terminals to interoperate with third-party SIP solutions.
